Palm Beach, Florida: Best or Worst Place in the USA?
The people of Palm Beach have a lot on their minds these days. Palm Beach being the vipers nest of Stupidparty Land—the very money behind the takeover of the State, turning America into their latest toy, having gotten bored of their yachts, planes and trophy wives—they now find themselves engorged in their own greed. Their own toyboy Trump is taking up all the oxygen in town, making it impossible for these traitorous inhabitants to fly their planes, be driven around town and mingle within their walled in communities. Now they are scared of the rising oceans, oceans that are rising because of their self-centered actions and leadership over the last few decades. The fact that Florida will sink fastest is just so ironic in a state where voters have not simply elected climate deniers, but a state Government that bans the very mention of climate change. You just can not get more Stupipdarty Land than this—hence my utter contempt, with special ire aimed with hurricane force winds at Palm beach…
Just call it Palm (not much of a beach)
So the American people overwhelming have a problem with what is going on. They try mightily to fight back with $10–$200 contributions. 280% more people gave to Obama than to Romney. Yet such Americans are up against overwhelming financial fire power from people who gather in locations that are designed to refuse entry to their Stupidparty Disciples, the very people that they are looking to disenfranchise, to Asset Strip (whether this be the exclusive country clubs, the gated communities, the yachts, or private Jets, only landscapers, caddies, butlers, valets, chauffeurs, waiters and doorman need apply—and be grateful for a “good morning” or a kindly dispensed tip. Spa staff had better rub them the right way).
“Many of Palm Beach’s residents are affluent. The town’s affluence and its ‘abundance of pleasures’ and ‘strong community-oriented sensibility’ were cited when it was selected in June 2003 as America’s ‘Best Place to Live’” by Robb Report magazine.
No place symbolizes entitled and insulated wealth better than Palm Beach—the heart of the Stupidparty powerbase.
Ironically, nowhere could be more removed from Stupidparty heartlands.
“The island of Palm Beach is about as far from the gun club and the Tea Party as you can get,” quipped Mark Alan Siegel, chairman of the Palm Beach Democratic Party. The county of Palm Beach, with more than 1.3 million residents, is actually heavily Democratic. But the town of Palm Beach, which sits on a barrier island east of the Intracoastal Waterway and has a year-round population of just 10,000 people, votes heavily Stupidparty.
And then in 1996 Rush Limbaugh bought property there. After that Palm Beach and South Florida have become a magnet for conservative business leaders, both disgraced and otherwise; media personalities have all moved in over the years.
Palm Beach Donors to Presidential campaigns
If you go to OpenSecrets.org you can find out who donated to whom by zip code. So it is interesting to figure out just how Stupidparty Palm Beach is. Here are the individual donors, listed by size of individual donation. Even though this is public information, I have redacted info, out of respect for privacy. I find this list fascinating because……..
Something that is close to mathematically impossible happens: the first 55 are all Stupidparty.
If Palm (Beach) were a balanced place, the odds of the below occurring would be 0.00000000000000555% or 20 trillion to one (by my math).
It would appear that Palm Beach is impossibly Stupidparty.
First contributor for Obama kicks in at number 56.
Would you think $5,000 is enough for the purpose of securing a congressional vote on a discrete issue? Remember that $15,000 to “facilitate” a vote to allow banks to sell mortgages to people who cannot afford them? $100,000 for a Congressional Soul? $5m can get you Newt Gingrich in your back pocket? or $100m can get you a Romney? These guys are within a hair’s breadth of controlling everything. Everyone has a price; politics as a profession is a magnet for unscrupulous behavior. I believe one might not have to wait for Black Friday to get a bargain. Every day is Black Friday.
Adelson would like to nuke Iran right now; these Iranian peace talks are driving him nuts. Gingrich and Romney have already shown how eager they were to please and appease Adelson. Now, I am not saying that they would be so infantile as to actually utilize nukes as the go-to foreign policy strategy, but they would be far more likely to Bomb, Bomb, Bomb Iran—and everyone in the Middle East would know that, and terrorism would flourish as a consequence. End of times Stupidparty-style.
Imagine being at a cocktail party in Palm Beach: Are these individuals giving any thought to income discrepancy, Global Warming, the minimum wage, the lives of the very people whom they con into believing that they actually give a damn about them—the Disciples? Yes, they fund the Tea Party, and Fox promotes the Tea Party. But they would not be seen dead rubbing shoulders with the Tea Party protestors they created: their expendable infantry in their battle to secure total domination of the process.
These entitled, pampered spoilt brats, these narcissists living off their inheritances or Assets Stripped from animal, vegetable, or mineral—they glibly advise and promote policies to nuke, to wage war, to pollute, to rip off consumers, whilst all the time also endangering those same consumers. They want to give less to employees by gutting the minimum wage, unions, worker safety, pension protections, and discrimination laws and sponsoring predatory loans. And by the way, they also pay too much in taxes, often forgetting that they already have enough loopholes to get their tax down to as low as zero anyway.
The people, the planet—we are all just fodder for their insatiable appetites. We have assets that they want to strip.
If these guys were smart (and I do not believe they are half as smart as they think, nuking Iran? Sheldon, really—the credit belongs to their accountants or CFOs), they would ask themselves how many yachts, private jets, and Lamborghinis and trophy wives does Palm Beach need?
Figure that out and design an app for that—so all these toys could be available when they need them; auction off the rest and actually do some good with those redundant trophy assets. But please cut out the vanity projects; do not simply build another wing on the Lincoln Center—so that each visitor whose tickets seem remarkably far from subsidized in the first place (no Tea Party people here, please) has to worship before the altar of your false idol astride the front door.
With the raw financial and media power exhibited in just one rather small location, one can see the forces at play that will make reform a herculean activity. These individuals have the power to select the politicians and the presidency itself. They are used to getting their way. It is a brave person who will ensure they abide by the law, let alone suggest they pay reasonable taxes. Why would these people give up their power? The game is rigged in their favor, like owning a casino, the bank, and rigged roulette wheels, and the regulators all at the same time. The vast majority of politicians desperately either need a piece of their benevolence or at least must try to discourage them from supporting their opponent.

Very interesting blog. Many blogs I see these days do not really provide anything that attract others, but I am most definitely interested in this one.
