We Can Be the Best Source of News – How?
A new type of news source that eschews opinions, skewers stupidity, lights a fuse under bigotry.
A news source committed to salvaging American democracy and assisting humanity.
No you are not entitled to your opinion! Not when confronted with facts proving you wrong. Media needs to evolve from the desiccated environment it helped to create. Why do you think we are suffering the insufferable amount of claptrap, posing as “news”? Why are people allowed to get away with believing that more guns makes every one safer, that the climate is not warming, that Jesus was a misogynist. The prideful, parochial confederate flag has become more of a symbol of hate than ever.
If you are confused by the USA’s descent into vacuous opinion, posing as a counter argument to facts—this website will provide you with all the facts that will allow you to easily eviscerate the Stupid. We can no longer afford to tolerate false equivalence, meaningless slogans. Myths will be mercilessly exposed. There can be no counterargument—as we prove with the majority of the news stories that we cover, every chapter we write. We will usually try and bring humor to offset the pain, the plain facts dominating again, will be easily accessible, nuanced subjects broken down in to easy to absorb component parts.
Only by truly understanding the facts—do obvious solutions naturally emerge. We avoid spelling out such solutions, understanding that once you read the news as it should be presented, the reader should have little problem in figuring out what the solutions are. An exception to this guiding principle would be our “Smartparty” platform where in we spell out the six simple fixes that would allow the people to take back their democracy and their economic destiny. We are non partisan—deep down 80% of Americans would agree with the bulk of our Smartparty platform, close to 100% of Americans would be not able to find significant flaws in the mathematically sound logic that is the back bone of our endeavors. Guest contributors will get more latitude. We let facts, numbers, truths, scientists, experts do the talking. We do not tolerate faux Christians, birther’s, science deniers, purveyors of myth, tools of paid off research, carriers of ignorance and hate. Confronted with such—we will not be kind or forgiving. They will be destroyed.
Yes—non partisan, we do not take sides, endorse candidates. We let the reader figure out which candidate is most likely to bring us closer to the six key reforms—considering all the complex strategies involved in trying to get us closer to that vital goal—before our corrupted democracy becomes totally controlled by the whims of the top .01% of society.
The end times might well be nigh. We can not prevent an asteroid, a massive volcano. If technological singularity were to occur, it would be totally logical for the computers to ravage mankind, because mankind’s myopic stupidity is the major threat to all living organisms. Rest assured, the end times will not be presaged by four horses galloping down main street—it will far more likely to be presaged by the self fulfilling actions of myopic stupidity, bigotry and superstition.
And I saw, and behold a white horse. And he that sat on him had calculated that he would forever be a ruler and would set forth and conquer myth with the use of math.
And there went out another horse, that was red. And power was given to him that sat thereon to take science to mankind, and that he must prevent raging winds, hell’s furnace, and plagues by allowing research to inoculate against witchcraft.
And I beheld, and lo a black horse. And he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. On one side sat facts and on the other untruths, and never again would the two be held equivalent.
And I looked, and behold a pale horse. And his name that sat on him was knowledge, and ignorance followed behind. And as the power of math, science, and facts was given to knowledge, so he trampled over ignorance, and deep into the earth this conquered beast did disperse.
