Trumps Secret Unearned Weapon to Beat Clinton and Become Emperor

May 20, 2016 By Patrick Andendall 6 Comments

How can Trump, a massively inferior candidate, who can only drink his very own toxic urinated “kool aid”, win an election?

To understand this, it helps to understand military strategy and how the most epic battles in history were won by the underdog.

On paper, it should be impossible to win. He has no facts, no policies and is clearly unqualified—but you do not need to be rocket scientist to figure out his path to victory–even though his flesh eating Zombie army should be decimated by it’s well armed critical thinking counterpart. But just by looking at any epic battle we can  reveal the answer as to how Trump might well win– and by looking at such history, so we can quickly see who the real threat is.

Hannibal is my favorite general–and I realize that using his name in the same line as Trump is diabolical.

I also hate to boil down all of his stunningly brilliant strategies into one key aspect of one major battle—but most people regard the Battle of Cannae as the perfect more traditional battle strategy. The battle took place on an open plain, with neither side having a territorial advantage. The Roman army was far larger, far fresher, very professional–so all things being equal they should have won, but instead it turned into one of the most bloody and one sided slaughters of all time.  Here is the battle schematic:

The Romans in are Red. Hannibal put his least experienced  infantry in the middle of his front lines, knowing that they would buckle under the pressure of their superior (in every way) Roman counterparts. So as Hannibal started to appear to be losing, his weaker troops predictably surrendered ground, thus organically beginning to encircle the Romans like so:

But Hannibal had hist best troops on the two wings and Superior Cavalry, and these Numidians (the cavalry) made short work of the Roman cavalry–having done that the cavalry was able to circle round the back of the Roman army, completing the encirclement. The Roman army now encircled from all sides was easily slaughtered.

My favorite American General was Robert Lee, who until the improbable failure of Pickett’s charge at Gettysburg had won a string of improbable victories. Here is the battle of Chancellorsville and note how Jeb Stuart (in charge of the Calvary) pretty much replicates the Numidians:

Perhaps the best British general was The Duke of Wellington, an unbeaten general who won numerous battles in India, Spain and other places before  arriving at his most famous battle – the Battle of Waterloo. Mathematically speaking Napoleon should have won. Napoleon has a great military reputation, but I am no fan, his basic strategy (similar to Lord Nelson) was to go “straight at them”. Napoleon did not care about loss of life on his own side –the key was to relentlessly attack the enemy, never backing off, until his greater numbers, with greater implacable determination and sacrifice would make the enemy despair , atrophy and then lose.

In the case of the Battle of Waterloo, Wellington’s weaker army was on the run and it looked like Napoleon would simply over ride them with a tsunami type effort. But Wellington understood this and he realized that he needed to take the initiative. So he chose his ground carefully, a topography that was subtly in favor of a defensive posture and took the elevated landscape and prepared to dig in and withstand every wave of Napoleon’s predictable strategy. The battle went all afternoon, with Wellington able to keep it to a draw or better, using more cunning tactics – and both armies took heavy hits —everyone was exhausted. Wellington’s secret weapon was the German cavalry, who were suspiciously late to the party, but arrive they did and they were able to make short work of the exhausted French.

So how is this applicable to Hillary v Trump?  Hillary has been fighting the “Borg” (Star Trek)  like vast right wing conspiracy for decades. Even though all of these relentless attacks have failed to mortally wound her –because there is simply no substance to these attacks, but lies repeated often enough become guttural truths. Trump has his secret weapon, a weapon that he did not have work for, a weapon that is no smarter (strategically) than his own zombie army, but just as fanatical –quite willing to voluntarily strap on their intellectual suicide vests – so determined are they to show off their intellectual superiority (even though their often time non pragmatic ideas are certainly great ideas).

So who are Trumps Numidians, who are his Jeb Stuarts, his Germans? Well they are the Bernie or Bust crowd, a fresh motivated crowd who are wandering on to the battle field, encircling Hillary from behind, using the very same weapons gleaned off hate radio and Fox news, as Trumps flesh eating Zombies use— incoherently attacking the wrong opponent in the back.

This is real life, unlike Jon Snow (I am presuming he comes back to life – but I am behind) the traitorous Brutus does not get a redo. Caesar was murdered thus sowing the seeds that were to end the Roman empire – to eventually be consumed by the zombies – the Visigoths.

And So Trump – with out any talent, manages to walk in the shoes of Hannibal, Lee and Wellington, admire the corpses rotting on the field, then ride victoriously to the Shining Hill, so that he can turn out the lights, and rule like Caligula, Napoleon or Stalin (Yes the Russians encircled Hitler, with the Allies finally coming up the rear with tanks and planes substituting for swords and horses) , then watch as America falls like Rome.

I have never attacked Bernie – I am just sick of a portion of his fan base. To those people I have issued a challenge, an irrefutable challenge. If you dislike like what I am saying with out listening to what I have said, then just know that you are even more despicable that the Trump Zombies – who are barely self aware. To Bernie I say – carry on, keep calm, but rein in your troops, because if you lose control, your platform will be shredded and you will become Brutus.

Assuming Hillary does not get arrested –which seems staggeringly unlikely –since I have yet to see what the hell she could have done to come close to meriting such Fox News and Bernie or Bust wet dreams – Hillary will be the nominee. Whining about the rules is just self demeaning/defeating – one clearly can not change the rules in the middle of the game –that ambition is just farcical. Is there a bit of cheating? May be -but that is American politics – and that also can not change in the middle of the game either. Even if there is merit to such such complaints –such merits are made doubly redundant, because Hillary is winning the actual vote count by a very significant margin.

So all the Bernie or Bust crowd are doing is enabling Trump and torpedoing their own agenda, their own hero, by sinking to the same level as Stupidparty. If they adopt a stunningly stupid strategy, then “progressiveness” loses it’s big advantage and false equivalence wins –handing the throne to the Emperor of Stupid.  Let’s just see how that works out for ya.

USA! USA! USA!   Raped! Pillaged! Asset Stripped! By the 1% (actually the .00001%)

Nice use of Rome Total War art, and nice comparison of Cannae and Chancellorsville

Bernie Sanders has an agenda for the Democratic party which can only be achieved if he takes it to the convention. The system must change as we go forward. This is not a coronation. Can Clinton make a compelling case for why she should be President against such an inferior opponent? If she cannot out maneuver Trump’s minions, what can we expect of President HRC?
Just as the Republicans brought the Trump candidacy upon themselves, so the Democrats have brought on the Sanders revolution by ignoring their natural constituency. Make it right.

Whether I agree with your opinions is of no importance – but this is my challenge to you – which is a challenge that you should have no difficulty complying with… http://stupidpartyland.com/1/post/2016/04/challenge-seven-point-plan-bernies-devout-suicidal-fns.html

Even if he takes it to the convention, he still won’t achieve this. Causing ruckus and screaming at a convention is not how policies get enacted. We’re not ancient Athens

I know this is a long time after the post was written, so I’m hoping that you get automatic comment notification so will see this… I wanted to ask about the image at the top of the article; did you produce this? And, if so, would you be willing for me to make use of it, as an illustration in an academic article on the phenomenon of comparisons between Donald Trump and Roman emperors?

I really can not remember how much I doctored this image. At the very least that arrow would be mine. I am not so concerned about copy write issues when used on social media and blogs. I sometimes doctor photos with faces and objects and such. Also I have been pretty dormant on my social media for the last year as I have been writing a new book -which is now pretty much complete—so this was awhile ago
