There is only one logical conclusion. America must surpass and improve the UK system and eliminate guns entirely. Hunting weapons only is a good start, and hand guns are not a hunting weapon. That will allow men in uniform to take on the Bobbie nature of a gunless peace officer.
Peace officers do not represent peace with a weapon tied to their waist. It is contradictory to the intention of peace. Can we not see that anyone who carries a firearm portrays an aggressive nature, regardless of the intention applied behind the gun?
It is insane to think that we can lead peaceful lives with so many guns at our disposal.

Why did Dallas think using a bomb as an approved weapon was a good idea?

I just read in the paper. Texas had the most officer deaths in the line of duty during 2015. More than any other state with 12. Could this be because they also have extremely relaxed gun control?
This disproves that more guns equals safety.

Yep, one stat rarely proves anything. Poorly worded. It is a clue that more guns does not equal safety ,,, would have been better. Nit picking the fine details is what everyone needs to do for intellectual honesty.
