Talking of facts: well, we know that facts do not lie.
How tragic it is that the USA, now governed by idiotic, fascist-leaning pathological liars, elected in by 25% of the electorate with the combined IQ of a vegetative coma patient—needs to be taught in the most simplistic terms imaginable—so simplistic that not even Dr Zeus would struggle to provide a teachable moment. This very paragraph with its numerous words, concepts and messages will forever be destined to go over the heads of the majority of Trump voters. Even though a Trump voter has no clue as to who and why they are, everyone else knows exactly who and why they are. How do we know? Well, we know that facts do not lie.
In Stupidpartyland we have yet another brand new word: “alternative facts”. It was just a few years ago that Stephen Colbert created his brand new word “Truthiness.” Now everyone with a functioning brain knew exactly why Stephen Colbert invented the word, and why this new word got instant traction. This was back in 2005, by which time all thinking fact driven, curious people had learnt that G.W.Bush has misled the USA into war. That would be a War Crime. But remember that 67% of Republican voter still believed, in spite of all the facts, that the War against Iraq was justified because Iraq was behind the 9/11 attack, that Iraq was in bed with Saddam. So we had a staggering number of idiots in 2005—following their guts. But we were still along way from voting for an idiotic, Xenophobic, fascist leaning, pathological lying, racist, misogynist, sexual predator con man as President, leader of the free world.
How quaint that we thought that we could learn from our stupidity—oblivious as the intellectual death spiral that had begun, the day George Bush tampered with the Florida electoral results in 2000. By 2017, with America now transparently a force for bad, it did not need the Queen to to spell out simple English, rather we had the spectacle of Merriam Webster tweeting out the dictionary definition of the word “Fact.”
So this has gotten me thinking, perhaps we need to define every word we use, on the off chance that mental midget Trumpeteers might actually comprehend something beyond guns making them feel safe in world full of dangerous non-whites. So in the spirit of trying yet another technique of getting idiots to comprehend simple stuff—like what does “fact” actually mean—let us revisit one sentence that I used in the second paragraph of this piece in order to fully explain its meaning.
