“Believe Me”—Trump Is God

December 27, 2018 By Patrick Andendall 2 Comments

An Onion = an individual wrapped in so many layers of delusion that they have entered into a intellectual vegetative state.

“Believe Me”—Trump Is God and since the firing of Defense Secretary General James Mattis, the last of the respected baby sitters, the US and all mankind is now facing the existential threat that comes with the US being run buy a repulsive toddler and a corrupted traitor— who actually thinks that he his God.

Of course you are not going to believe me—about Trump being God. You have a brain of sorts and when all somebody has is “believe me” you know it is time to change the subject. But Trump fans must be in a vegetative state because their man eschews substance and as a deity he demands blind faith.

So evidently he is believed when he says “my health care plan will be great”. He is believed when he says “I’m a really nice guy, believe me,”- That is how non functioning human brains can so easily become; they just believe. Of course an Onion would accept the mile-high tsunami of drivel that got Trump elected, so that he can rule over his newly created swamp. That is why Onions are so easy to spot.

These Onions now worship this transparent nincompoop, this guy who refers to himself in the third tense as a deity, and like a deity he believes he knows more about you than you. How do we know? Because we have his words. This is what the onions adore in him—his all-powerfulness, that surpasses any mere mortal. Just look at all his infinite knowledge:

“I know more about renewables than any human being on Earth.”

“Nobody knows more about debt. I’m like the king. I love debt.”

“I think nobody knows more about taxes than I do, maybe in the history of the world. Nobody knows more about taxes.”

“Nobody knows banking better than I do”

“I think nobody knows the system better than I do.”

“Nobody knows more about trade than me.”

“I know more about (campaign) contributions than anybody.”

“If Cory Booker is the future of the Democratic Party, they have no future! I know more about Cory than he knows about himself.”

“Nobody in the history of this country has ever known so much about infrastructure as Donald Trump.”

“There’s nobody bigger or better at the military than I am.”

“I know more about ISIS than the generals do. Believe me.”

“All of the women on The Apprentice flirted with me – consciously or unconsciously. That’s to be expected.”

“I know more about offense and defense than they will ever understand, believe me. Believe me. Than they will ever understand. Than they will ever understand.”

“There is nobody who understands the horror of nuclear more than me.”

“Because nobody knows the system better than me. I know the H1B. I know the H2B. Nobody knows it better than me.”

“I will build a great wall – and nobody builds walls better than me, believe me – and I’ll build them very inexpensively. I will build a great, great wall on our southern border, and I will make Mexico pay for that wall. Mark my words.”

“My IQ is one of the highest —and you all know it! Please don’t feel so stupid or insecure; it’s not your fault.”

So who the hell falls for this? Who made this phony, this con man, president? We need to put a face on those Onions. I think they are actually crying with pride.

Do you have a living will? Have you remembered to request that if you ever become a vegetable, that a loved one will pull the plug. Just pray that some pro-life twat won’t keep you on life support for eternity.

Still have doubts? Well of course I can always prove that approximately 67% of GOP supporters numerous cards short of a full deck, and I am being kind because as you have discovered—racism and bigotry are strong within them. But surely they must be right about something? I think not, (having just discarded national security competence, fiscal discipline and free trade with gay abandon)—in this (101myths) I analyze every single myth that I can think of as to why someone may have voted for the Stupidparty in 2016—and it soon becomes apparent that these Onions have no signs of life, no rationale for being. After outlining all these myths I will then (in A Pox on You) quantify how the false equivalence (when stacked upon myth), leads to the death of critical thinking among all of us. I will quantify the actual impact of that false equivalence, and what it is wreaking upon society. To solve a problem one must first understand it.

But my real fear is the likely complacency, that will follow any success in peeling away some of these Onions from their vegetative state. Many people will be so relieved at saving a few souls, thus taking away some power from Stupidparty, that the chances of actually salvaging democracy from the dark clouds of an encroaching dystopia, will remain remote, without an unscrupulous and brilliantly timed intervention.

Believe me? No,—I am not suggesting you do that—because I fully recognize that for any penny to drop, the answers must come from within one’s own intellectual horizons, people need ownership of an idea. The most I can hope to achieve is to provide a road map from which it is impossible to get lost.

A few final words from God.

“I will build a great wall – and nobody builds walls better than me, believe me – and I’ll build them very inexpensively. I will build a great, great wall on our southern border, and I will make Mexico pay for that wall. Mark my words.”

“It’s freezing and snowing in New York – we need global warming!”

Pres. Trump on his tax reform plan: “I am doing the right thing, and it’s not good for me. Believe me.”

Trump: “NATO, believe me, is very happy with Donald Trump.”’

The Onion is strong around us and even within us.

Your blog above is not helpful. It reminds of the humorous ranting and raving of Car Talk, except that they know basic facts and can substantiate them. I am a conservative and I would like to find a liberal site that can provide better ideas and substantiate them. Your snarky comments appear to be 90% of the content. I know you want to make your site entertaining, but people do want substance. I thought I would visit your site before listening to your interview with John Loeffler and now I am not too excited about listening to the interview. From reading the first half of the article/blog above, I expect that you will be constantly interrupting and being unpleasant. I hope that I am wrong.

I really would love to have a better understanding of what planet you come from. This blog as tons of links to facts that underpin all my arguments. The thrust of this blog is that I how demonstrate, using Trumps own word that Trump believes he is almost as knowledgeable as an all knowing God. You pretend to be interested in what you describe as a “Liberal” view but you can not be bothered to read the full argument, and you can not rebut any of the substance that I provide in this blog. This is a pitiful effort at introspection on your part. Now the following is a paragraph in the this piece – please look at the linked substance (in the original blog piece) and find an error, find a way of rebutting simple assertions that I make in this paragraph. Are you smart enough to be able to undergo this simple exercise in trying to see how I actually provide overwhelming substance
